Pros : Breakfast was good, the lady fixing the eggs makes an excellent omelette. Pros : The property, staff and location.. Location great for privacy very peaceful.. Pros : Andel the barman was the best part of the hotel,he was very amusing. Cons : The place felt quite soulless. Breakfast choices were appalling. We had three power cuts during our stay and for a hotel that size it didnt even have a back up generator. Pros : I really like the concierge and the receptionist, they were very friendly and willing to help.
The hotel was very comfortable and pleasant. Breakfast was great!

They even offer us an option of giving us breakfast "in a box" once our flight was leaving so early and we wouldn't be able to have breakfast. Cons : Because of taxes and such the hotel end up being much more expensive, and the manager didn't seem to be very patient to explain that to us. Also, some of the employees were not very nice and were not helpful.
I think they should change the manager and some of the employees, and teach how they should approach the guests. Desk never had any change for US currency, would not cash checks, rarely had cash to exchange for foreign currency, no cash stations on premises, most of machines in fitness station didn't work. Pros : The room that was assigned had to be changed there was no safe, the bed sheets was dirty, we was assigned to another Room which was worse I reported the conditions to management which was not addressed.
I have pictures of the conditions of the room I would not recommend that property.
The common area is kept up but not the room we was assigned. And when I complained the staff was unresponsive. Cons : The room was not clean the vents was dusty my husband devloped a severe cough due to that the linens was scratchy, in order for the celin fan to stay on my husband had to stick a toothpick in the light switch. Thats only stating a few of the deplorable conditions.

Cons : AC was not cooling properly. Water was not running off fast enough in the face basin.
Lack of security at night on the compound. Room dated. Place in need of continuous maintenance. Pros : breakfast was wonderful as usual, the oatmeal was simply the best. Mango cheesecake flawless. Little mix-up with the beds and payment for dinner. I made paying for it at the time of booking a priority but was informed at dinnertime that it was not included. Pros : Great breakfast and beach area. Good vibes. Front desk helpful. But the true hospitality came in when we met with an accident the day before we were supposed to fly out of Tobago. The staff were so amazingly caring, people there took great care of us - starting with the concierge calling every few hours daily to check and see how we were doing and if we needed anything, and the General Manager of the property not only coming by everyday to see us and going above and beyond to drive us to the hospital and bring us medication.
Extremely humane and courteous staff, we had tears in our eyes the day we left at their kindness and the courtesy extended to us. We have only good things to share about this place. It is truly the best place to stay in all of Tobago.

Room service was exceptional - especially a very cheerful "Valerie" I believe her name was. Cons : Restaurant staff could not get our order right and I finally had to get up after waiting 20 minutes and ask the bartender for my own bottle of soda - I waited at the bar until he gave it to me despite mild protests from the hostesses that they would get it for me. I blame this on the restaurant and not hotel.
